Welcome to Analog Explorer – Season 5!
If you’re new to The Analog Explorer, welcome aboard! This bonus episode is a great place to jump in with a brief background on who I am and how this podcast came to be. We’re starting Season 5 a little differently. Coming to the feed are interviews, or “tales” as I like to call them, from some of our “friends in the watchfam” who are behind some of our favorite brands that feel very Analog Explorer-adjacent. These were captured live on the expo floor at the inaugural Vancouver Timepiece Show, held last weekend April 25–27, 2025.
The show took place at the wicked cool restored Pipe Shop Venue in North Vancouver’s Shipyards District and was brought to life by Jason Hutton, founder of ZENEA Watches and the Toronto Timepiece Show. With 55 brands from across the globe, it was a full-on celebration of the independent and microbrand scene packed with innovation, craftsmanship, and that unmistakable #watchfam, and Canadian, energy.
